ECO ACTIONS AND PROJECTs
There's stacks of actions taking place every week, month and year for you, your friends and family to get involved in - no matter what your age or your diver level. Contact any of the dive centres involved in Go Eco Phuket and we'll tell you the latest and greatest. You can either start your eco learning by accessing any of the links below. We can't wait to involve you in all our actions.
PHUKET'S ANNUAL GREAT CLEAN-UP: 13TH AUGUST 2013
Join us again this year! That's right we are going to do it all again and this year we want to make maximum impact to make divers and non divers around the world aware of the problems our oceans face.
13th August 2013 will see Go Eco Phuket (in association with the Phuket Governing bodies and Royal Thai Navy) join forces once more to clean various reefs around Phuket as well as an Island-wide simultaneous Beach Clean-Up.
Dive centres in Phuket are dedicated to fight the problem of marine debris and to show this are closing business for this day to put maximum effort into the project.
We are looking at getting 1000 volunteers together and breaking last year's record. Can you help us? Email us today!

Dive Against Debris: Project AWARE
From the smallest bits of plastic, car batteries and appliances, to enormous fishing nets, “stuff” from our daily lives makes its way to the ocean by the ton every day. As Earth’s growing population consumes more disposable goods, the items we discard, even thousands of miles inland, are choking our ocean planet.
Join us in the battle against marine debris and Dive Against Debris. Your local actions in Phuket contribute to a clean, healthy future for the ocean.
We run regular marine debris surveys removing, disposing and recording data on marine debris found in our local waters. You can start your learning now. Download the Self Study Guide. Don't let your dive's go to waste.

Shark Conservation Diver: Project AWARE
We are emptying the ocean of sharks. Scientists warn that around a third of sharks might already be threatened with extinction. As a diver and a global citizen acting locally, you can play a critical role in saving sharks.
Learn more about how you can give sharks a fighting chance by taking the AWARE Shark Conservation Diver Specialty Course. Learn about the major threats, missing management strategies and, best of all, the many actions you can take to give sharks a fighting chance.

CORAL MONITORING: CORAL WATCH, REEF CHECK
The rainforests of the sea need our help. They aren't enough scientists around the world to monitor varying levels of coral health and report back data.
This is where divers can fit in. We can fill the gap, access the dive sites and feed back our data to scientists all over the world.
